Totally in the afterglow of a great trip to Pittsburgh for 4th river fest. So many genuinely nice people. It was great to be surrounded by such good energy that my old jaded soul feels rejuvenated again. I even got a short impromptu set to debut some new material I’ve been working on and took a big step in getting over my crippling anxiety of performing solo. It wouldn’t have been nearly as easy to accomplish without having such a supportive crowd. This summer has been really rough and now I think I finally turned the tide on the shitshow everything has been so far. Looking forward to riding this wave as long as possible and bring this positivity back home to Baltimore with me where it’s needed most.
All singing together an ancient rhyme, but no word did they speak to the mistress of the house. Strange to hear, and frightful to look upon, were these twelve women, with their horns and their wheels; and the mistress felt near to death, and she tried to rise that she might call for help, but she could not move, nor could she utter a word or a cry, for the spell of the witches was upon her.
